NetPalpus  NetPalpus 是一款简单易用的网络管理工具，可以探测，组织和监视位于你的网络上的所有设备。该软件可以监视设备状况以及指定服务（http, smtp, ftp, mssql 等等）的可用性，并且当一个设备变得不可使用的时候可以通过声音或者电子邮件向你发出警报。网络设备按照子网和服务类型自动地进行组织，并且你还可以根据你自己的标准创建定制的组对其进行管理。NetPalpus 缺乏高级的监视和警报功能，但是对于基本的网络监视需要以较低的价格提供了非常好的功能。
note:NetPalpus is a network monitoring tool which helps you keep an eye on all the devices included in your subnet: workstations, routers, switches, etc.

After starting the program, you need to search for the network devices: you can specify an IP range, which can be remembered for future searches; advanced 'Search' options include the number of threads, SNMP community, use/exclude NetBIOS, Ping timeout and the number of Ping attempts before completing a connection. The search results will be displayed including the device name, health and IP address. By clicking on any of the devices, you can obtain information regarding the services (FTP, Telnet, SMTP, HTTP, POP3, etc.), the services' status (open/closed) and the interface (health and IP number).
